Happy Chinese New Year! I think I should at least say that, just in case people reading this think I dun celebrate it.. to be honest, I don't feel its very significant to me this year. Most of my cousins ( the ones I actually talk to, somehow) are missing somewhere.. overseas or something. And circumstances force the visit to Malaysia to be especially short.. but well, since I don't really have people to talk to there, it's not so bad I guess.
It's the Pig year, for those who do not realise... yes, it is. That certainly doesn't mean you can't eat pork- that would be kind of disastrous for Chinese cuisine worldwide, wouldn't it? And you know what the Pig year is for? Plenty of little piglets!! Yes, the pressure is on for married couples.. get grandchildren for your parents QUICK!!! Hurry before the year is over!!! ( Also for the sake of the children- couples with children = official married couple = HONGBAO!!)
